Miss USA contestant Carrie Prejean says that her country and her family opposes gay marriage. Really? Her country? And she resides in California, a very liberal state with San Francisco, a gay epicenter. Dream on, honey.

Ms Prejean,
I applaud your response to the gay question you were asked during the pageant. I'm sure you agree that being true to your faith and personal convictions are more important than winning any pageant. Perhaps the gay biasted judges held it against you, but the majority of America stands with you. By the way the people of Iowa are biting at the bit to overturn the latest judicial decision saying gay marriage should be authorized. May God bless you. Sincerely, Mr and Mrs. Ronald E. Stone, Raytown, Missouri

**MATTHEW 5:10-12: "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My Sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven."
**1PETER 3:17: "For it is better, if it is the will of God , to suffer for doing good than for doing evil."

I would like to say to Carrie, that she's an inspiration for me to not be ashamed of my faith, especially when you know there is opposition, to continue on anyway knowing you'll recieve the crown from God. (which is much better than a crown that any man has to offer). God does not hate the sinner, only the sin. He does not wish that any should perish, but that all would come come to repentance so they can recieve eternal life. This life in the flesh is so temporary I don't think we grasp that enough. Eternity is eternity, and you don't get a second chance to come back from it to ask for forgiveness. We only have the here and now to do so.
