Dungeons & Dragons has been a dearly loved game over the past few decades. It is a game of fantasy, creativity, adventure, and more. With Dungeons & Dragons, or D&D as fans call it, you get to immerse yourself in a world that is entirely new and different from anything that you experience in your own life. You have to work with others to fulfill the quests, make it through the world, and defeat the forces.

What is the Way of the Astral Self?
What makes the current D&D game edition even more exciting is the addition of a new subclass: the Way of the Astral Self. This subclass incorporates monk characters who derive from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and have a strong and unending connected to the Astral Self.
The Astral Self is described as being the pure embodiment of the monk’s soul. This astral self is able to reflect the mind of those who create it. Your astral self could look like whatever you manifest it to be because it is of your own creation.
If you have never before played JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, you are going to have to catch up on the details since they are tied together. Below are the basic details of both the adventure and the Way of the Astral Self to help you better understand this new subclass.
1. On the 3rd, 6th, 11th, and 17th level when you gain a monk feature, you will also unlock as specific part of your Astral Self.
a. You first begin with the Arms of the Astral Self. You can call a spiritual arm to you for 10 minutes at a time for a small cost; this increases your strength; you will have a 10-foot reach; you can use your wisdom on attacks.
b. Next comes the Visage of the Astral Self. You can spend a little more in order to get an enchanted helmet or mask gives you more insight; you will have ultra-dark vision to around 120 feet.
c. Third comes the Awakening of the Astral Self. With this step, you get both of the parts discussed above; you are able to deflect energy; you can deploy additional damage using your arms; your Voice will be more dramatic.
d. Finally, at the final level, you will gain the Complete Astral Self. This is your final form of Astral Self; you can summon a full-blown Astral Body; you get six attacks with your arms; you are able to have extra AC.
Overall, if you are a fan of D&D, you will be excited to know that there is a new subclass to partake in known as the Way of the Astral Self. What makes this subclass fun for those who are fans is that it is tied to a previous class known as JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. You will work through the levels in order to form what is known as your complete Astral Self to have optimal power and control.
