The ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ is missing major drama queen Danielle Staub this season since she wasn’t asked to come back for season 3, but Jacqueline Laurita and the gang aren’t shedding any tears over Danielle’s absence. Jacqueline says now that there’s no focus on Danielle’s back-stabbing, there’s plenty of family drama being dealt with in front of the cameras.
“It’s not the same type of drama than when Danielle was on [the show]. I think that was a little more dark, and now [we as a cast] have less of a fear of life. It’s more like ‘Oh my God, what’s my family member going to say about me?’ because you’re feuding with them. This drama went on before with Danielle but you couldn’t see it because Danielle’s drama overshadowed what was going on in our lives.”
The family feud begins during the season premiere this coming Monday when Melissa Gorga gets into a brawl with her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice during Melissa’s son’s christening. Teresa says it was so crazy, “I blacked out that day and it’s still blurry to me. When I watch the episode I’ll see what went on because I still don’t [remember]. It was a crazy day.”
I say it’s all the wine she probably chugged before the ceremony that caused the blackout, but that’s just me.
Nobody will miss Danielle. She never fit in and just came off as crazy. Teresa is the main HBIC and she’s gonna fight for that title against Melissa in the upcoming season.
