Whitney Houston: Prescription Drugs and Alcohol Caused Death

Whitney Houston did not die from drowning, thank God, according to L.A. County Coroner officials. The water that was found in her lungs was not enough to suggest that the iconic singer had died from drowning in her hotel bathtub.

It is the cocktail of prescription pills, mixed with alcohol, that allegedly did her in.

Houston was found in her bathtub with her head submerged in water. It is believed that she died before she slipped into the water.

It was Whitney’s aunt, Mary Jones, who discovered her body in the tub – everyday we’re hearing that it’s someone different! Mary checked on her after a half hour and she’s the one who pulled Houston from the tub and administered CPR.

Whitney’s body will be flown back to Atlanta as early as tomorrow.
