I think People is getting this list confused with the Most Hated Celebrities of All-Time, because last I checked Gwyneth Paltrow was at the top of that list as well.

I’m in no way trying to knock Gwyn or her beauty, because she is without a doubt a natural pretty person. But, really People, you went from Beyoncé to Gwyneth Paltrow? The woman who wants you to spend $500,000 this Spring on essentials such as Jimmy Choo heels, and Rag & Bone jeans that will most certainly not be in in 6 more months.

For someone who’s kind of an elitist snob, she sure knows how to act very modest and humble when accepting her Most Beautiful Woman for 2013 Award.

The Iron Man 3 star claims this came as a bit of a shock to her (if even she’s in shock that should tell you something), because she’s so accustomed to playing the role of mom in nothing more than jeans and a casual tee.

“Around the house, I’m in jeans and a T-Shirt. I don’t really wear makeup. That’s what they’re use to,” she says in her interview with People. As for her hubby, he jokes when she gets all glammed up, because it’s such a rarity. “If I’ve gotten fully dressed up, he’ll be like, ‘Oh, wow! You’re Gwyneth Paltrow!’ Because he’s used to seeing me in, like, baggy shorts and frizzy hair.”

Well, maybe this latest achievement will make her go down a notch to being Hollywood’s 2nd most hated celeb. Not saying she’s not a naturally beautiful person, but number 1? I for one would have much rather seen the title given to some of her contenders such as Jennifer Lawrence, Zooey Deschanel, Amanda Seyfried, Halle Berry, or even Jane Fonda, who claims beauty comes from within.

Gwyneth Paltrow continues to be out of touch when it comes to the economy and the amount of money normal people have. In her Goop newsletter Gwyneth put together a list of spring essentials that come to a whooping $458,003.

The list includes Jimmy Choo heels, Rag & Bone jeans, a Valentino iPad case, Isabel Marant sneakers and a T by Alexander Wang tee shirt. You know, things a girl really needs.

Seriously, just head to Target, Urban Outfitters or H&M and just get the knock offs because Gwyneth has clearly lost her mind if she thinks anyone is going to spend that amount of money stuff that’s only going to last one season. Seriously, will any of this stuff steal be trendy or “in” next season. Ladies save your money and spend it on something that will last. Sorry Gwyneth, we plebeians don’t have that kind of cash.

Arguably the most hated woman on gossip blogs is Gwyneth Paltrow. Gwyneth’s holier than thou comments really disturb and annoy many readers, but I could care less. She does what she wants and says what she wants, which I find refreshing. Even if what she’s saying only applies to the elite and the obsessive controlling b!tches out there.

Gwyneth doesn’t attend any events with husband Chris Martin, and they are one of the most private couples in Hollywood. Gwyneth tells Elle magazine  that Chris wants it that way, cause he wants to preserve his singer-songwriter image… that sounds kind of shady to me, but Gwyn doesn’t mind it.

Paltrow also said that if “God forbid” she and Chris split, she would still respect him “so much” as the father of her children. Uh oh. I think she’s online right now looking for a divorce attorney.

On why she won’t ask Chris for music advice: “[He’s] a musical genius. It’s like living with Picasso, and being like, ‘Should I make a little something-something?’”

On why she hides her marriage: “He makes music for his fans, and he doesn’t want people to conjure a lame famous couple when they’re getting into his music. I get it.”

On false rumors of a split: “Sometimes it’s hard being with someone for a long time. We go through periods that aren’t all rosy… You can never be relaxed or smug and think, I’ve got this thing. That’s also part of it—keeping yourself on your toes. I’m not going to take this for granted.”

Non-Jew Gwyneth Paltrow says that she’ll be raising her children Jewish. Gwyneth, 38, said that she was raised in both a Jewish and Christian household. Gwyneth’s kids Apple, 7, and Moses, 5, will be raised the same.

Gwyneth’s mother is Christian and her father is Jewish. Gwyn said that being raised Jewish and Christian “was such a nice way to grow up.” She then completely contradicted herself, saying, “I don’t believe in religion. I believe in spirituality. Religion is the cause of all the problems in the world.”

Paltrow talks about this decision on NBC’s show Who Do You Think You Are?

A genealogy expert tells her that religion passes through the matriarchal line, which means that she won’t be considered a true Jew in religious laws because her mother is a Christian.

“Miss Paltrow may just want to follow traditions “like observing the Sabbath, keeping a kosher home and celebrating holidays,” the expert says.
